Welcome to a view through a window to my Art and Word-Play. Born in Ireland and regard the World as my home and therefore I am constantly seeking to discover myself through my art, to mold my own identity as a human being and to find a meaning in the Universe as to why I am here ... I create to feel alive and live in the certainty of the uncertainty happening in my Art/Life. This comment, whilst attached to your 28th exhibit, is a general comment on the artists attitude to reactions to his/her work. Many of the exhibits have a name, date and location and others have a brief description presumably reflecting the artist's thoughts and intentions.
Some years ago I went to the Museum of Modern Art in New York (before the removal to its current location. Around every corner, it seemed, there was a recognisable work (recognisable to anyone who has paid some attention to the arts over the last 50 or so years). Whilst they were recognisable I could not put an interpretation to them. Would the artist expect me to understand? Would he/she care if I didn't. Do you care?
